In 2025, we launched a special, curated production called Devī, which featured over 30 of Sydney’s next-generation Carnatic musicians.

Devī represents Karpahavalli’s growth and evolution as an organisation. 

With the involvement of emerging talent, this production is a testament to the strong community we’ve built and continue to nurture.
More than 35 musicians came together to present a range of vocal and instrumental performances, including veena, violin, mridangam, kanjira, konnakol, and percussion pads. 

Devī blends orchestral-style performances with the improvisational aspects of Carnatic music, creating a dynamic and immersive experience. We’re excited to bring more productions like this in the future, alongside our regular events.
