Encouraging aspiring musicians to appreciate, improve, and excel in the art form by offering them chances to perform. Fostering knowledge sharing by connecting our musicians with internationally acclaimed artists, through workshops, lectures, and in-person classes across Australia.
Building a community where people can meet, learn, and gain exposure to different art forms and perspectives.

Our Story
Karpahavalli Incorporated (Karpahavalli) is a not-for-profit organization based in Sydney, established in 2007 by a passionate group of young musicians. Their goal was to preserve and promote the rich traditions of Carnatic music, both within the community and beyond.
The organization is named in honor of the late Yazhpanam N. Veeramani Iyer and holds a special place as the first youth-led group in Australia to offer a platform for emerging Carnatic musicians. Karpahavalli provides these talented musicians the opportunity to perform while also acting as an educational resource.
